Check out my other Spriting Tutorials [link] (actually you shouldn't... they're aren't as nice looking as this one :c)
Advanced Tutorials: A mini-series of tutorials of mine going into detail about various Pokemon spriting techniques, like fire, ice, etc. This is the first of this mini-series.

USE THE ERASER TOOL TO SCRIBBLE OVER THE SPRITE WHEN RECOLORING IT I forgot to mention that :U
I'm getting KH: Birth By Sleep tomorrow so I won't be online for the next 3-4 days as I play that game, so you get this as a tiny parting gift. I'm planning on updating one of my older tuts later on next week (that is, if I'm done with BBS by then... which I probably won't be XD).
Meh, this is how I make my shadows in MS Paint, which in turn are like the battle shadows in Black and White. If you want to do something similar to those, read this tutorial... If you upload sprites with these shadows, either WBG them or have the background the same color as dA because the shadows don't look as good against a white background... Don't forget to save as a .PNG!
Comment, fave, ask questions, show me what you made, and whatever you can do that's related to this tutorial.
The one I'm pointing to should have a blue background if you have Vista (meaning it's selected). What this means is that what ever is selected inside the box will be transparent, like you want. When you have it selected on the box above it, whatever you select inside that box and move it (aka a moving a sprite), you will move the background around it with it.
So yeah, just select the one I circled in the link, and you should be okay. I hope that made sense
"THANK'S MAN" !!!
